In case you were wondering, yes, basketball fans in Seattle are still bitter about the NBA, in particular the way the Sonics left town and become the Oklahoma City Thunder. In turn, Sonics loyalists celebrated the Thunder’s elimination from playoff contention earlier this week. Those celebrations, as reported by the Seattle Times, include ex-Seattle great Shawn Kemp hosting a party Thursday night to celebrate the Thunder’s shortcoming.
As of yet we haven’t heard whether or not Xavier McDaniel plans to host a similar soiree.
