All my life I’ve wanted to catch a foul ball at a Major League baseball game. I’ve resigned my fact, like many other things in my life, it’s never going to happen. Alas. So in that regard it galls me when — by dumb luck — a Mariners fan at Safeco Field Tuesday night winds up catching a foul ball off the bat of David Freese in a popcorn tub. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good, right?
