Michigan Satirical Magazine Has Duke as the 5th-Ranked Terrorist Organization

Michigan and Duke have a basketball rivalry. Maybe you’ve heard of it? If not, ask someone if there is any love lost between the two teams. The answer might surprise.

The latest example of the rivalry showed up in the University of Michigan’s satirical newspaper, The Every Three Weekly. In an article entitled “String of Upset Victories, Boko Haram Slowly Climb AP Top 25 Terrorist Group Rankings,” Duke shows up at #5, right behind the KKK.

Expect the Michigan State satirical newspaper to respond with an article entitled, “We’re Not Upset That Michigan Considers Duke a More Evil Rival. Seriously.” Meanwhile, Duke holds a 22-8 record in the rivalry and is in contention for a top seed in the NCAA tournament. Michigan is 14-13 this season.
